A Can’t-Miss Kickoff That Breaks All the Rules

Come join us for an experience you will never forget! 

This year, we’re ditching the board room and throwing the power point presentations out the window as we take you on an immersive journey through the stunning landscape of Park City, Utah. Where hands-on learning meets unforgettable adventure.

You’ll team up with your RSM, Agronomist, and fellow Sound Dealers as you compete to rack up points through exciting educational challenges and thrilling activities throughout the day in an Amazing Race-esque event. The Kickoff concludes with a closing dinner and awards ceremony. 

Event Details

Dates: Wednesday, July 16 at 5:00pm to Thursday, July 17 at 8:00pm

Location: Grand Summit Lodge

Transportation: Upon arrival at the Salt Lake City airport, a shuttle will bring you to the Lodge. Check-in begins at 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. If you arrive early, you can leave your bags with concierge until your room is available. Checkout will be at 11:00 AM on the day of departure, and a shuttle will be available to take you to the Salt Lake City airport.

Extended Stays: If you are interested in extending your stay at The Grand Summit, call 844 – 457-7625 (prompt #1, then prompt #3).

What to Wear:

  • We’ll provide an event t‑shirt and team bandana at packet pickup — wear them Thursday for the Amazing Race!
  • Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes
  • Tennis shoes for walking, Closed-toe shoes required for Olympic Park

Event Updates: To receive updates during the event, text SOURCE to 888 – 609-9853.

This year, we’re implementing a no-show fee of $500 which will be withheld from commissions for any Dealer that does not provide adequate cancellation notice. If your plans change, please make your RSM aware by no later than Friday, May 30.

Packet Pickup & Happy Hour:

When: 5:00 PM
Where:
Ride the Orange Bubble Express Gondola from the Grand Summit base to the top of the mountain to get your welcome packet including your gift card, new collateral, and items for Thursday’s activities. There will be a photographer at the top to capture a headshot with the stunning mountain backdrop. Once you have your packet, join us at the Umbrella Bar for a Happy Hour.

Opening Ceremony & Dinner:

When: 6:00 PM
Where:
Umbrella Bar (base of the mountain)
Join us for dinner, drinks, live music, and a celebration of our top 2025 dealers.

Amazing Race Event:

When: 8am-8pm
This year’s event will take place outdoors in the beautiful Utah sunshine. It will be an action packed day filled with relays, paddleboarding, scavenger hunts, and Olympic activities. Put your competitive hats on and get ready to race around the valley completing challenges while learning more about what’s coming at Sound.
