We are hiring a Digital Marketing Manager to manage and develop digital content across all online platforms. This role will be responsible for utilizing data to analyze performance trends and will use these insights to optimize performance in order to reach goals. This role reports to the VP Corporate Marketing & Communications.

Location: Emeryville, California or remote. Majority remote working is possible.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute a growth marketing strategy across SEO/SEM, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Write, design, and develop/​maintain content calendar for organic and paid social media, focusing on Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify and analyze paid social trends and insights and use to optimize spend and performance 
  • Co-own thought leadership and brand awareness goals
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams to create digital ad campaigns, overseeing creative development, ad buys, and implementation, with a focus on measurement and conversion
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies providing perspective for adoption where appropriate

Skills & Experience

  • BS degree with high academic performance
  • 5+ years experience in digital marketing and social media content management
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in devising targeted digital campaigns that engage and inform
  • Solid knowledge of website and social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEOmatic, Hootsuite)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Working knowledge of Craft CMS or WordPress 
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, with an ability to articulate results and learnings
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Expertise in Google Suite of tools, including Google Drive, Docs and Slides
  • Passion for food, agriculture and sustainability
