Dan Jacques

Dan has more than 20 years of experience leading food and agriculture companies to drive more sustainable food production. He develops and oversees commercial and research partnerships for both inputs and breeding platforms. He joined Sound Agriculture from Indigo, where he led technology partnerships, securing key relationships with academic research institutions around the globe and assessing best-in-class microbial technologies for the company’s go-to-market platform. 

Prior, he led business development for Crop Enhancement, supporting plant-based crop protection technologies centered on cacao, coffee and citrus, along with DuraFizz, an early stage company focused on science-based food technologies. He started his career in food and agriculture with Ocean Spray Cranberries. Dan earned a bachelor’s degree in naval architecture and marine engineering from Webb Institute and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth.
