Dawn Melikant

Dawn has committed her career to supporting the farmers and ranchers that grow our food and steward the land. For over a decade, she has worked to align people strategies with business growth by elevating programs, systems, and processes impacting the employee experience. Her fierce advocacy for others coupled with her eye for process improvement, make her a valuable thought-partner across the Sounder team. 

Starting her career as a grain merchandiser in rural South Dakota, Dawn grew as an HR leader during her tenure with the Farm Credit System, providing rural communities and those in the agriculture industry with reliable, consistent credit and financial services. She earned a BS in Animal Science and MS in Agribusiness Management from Murray State University. 

While she considers herself a proud Kentuckian, Dawn and her partner currently call Sonoma County, CA their home.
