Tamara Meragelman

Tamara is a highly accomplished research leader with extensive experience in the biological products industry. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Research at Sound Agriculture, she has successfully implemented a cost-effective nutrient use efficiency screening program and fostered a transformative team culture.

Prior to her current position, Tamara was the Director of Lead Identification at Zymergen, where she designed and executed strategies for identifying new molecular targets. Her tenure at Bayer Crop Science saw her in various leadership roles, including overseeing the Biologics Characterization Platform and driving R&D process excellence .

Tamara holds a Ph.D. in Natural Products Chemistry and a Bachelor in Chemistry from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in Argentina.
